Just a friendly reminder that the registration for a free meal during our Open House event closes tomorrow at 4:30pm. Registered families will receive a ticket when they arrive to ensure that they receive their meal. If you are not registered, we cannot guarantee that we will have enough food to accommodate your party, and you will be asked to wait until registered families are served first. Our annual Open House/ Title 1 Night is coming on September 15th! Please join us at 5:00 for a free meal for all registered families, followed by a brief presentation by New World's Reading and Title 1. Parents will be able to visit the classrooms following the presentation.

Families who have returned their RSVP form and are already registered in our Raptor system will have a visitor sticker ready and will not need to wait in line to have their ID scanned.
To avoid a wait on the day of the picnic, we encourage family members to stop by our front office Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM to have their ID scanned before the event. We can't wait to see you then!

If you hear loud noises and see lots of police officers and deputies at LifePointe Church and Umatilla Middle School this week, don’t be alarmed! The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is conducting active assailant training for all School Resource Deputies and Officers. The sessions will be held on Thursday, August 6, at LifePointe Church, 3551 E Orange Ave. in Eustis, and on Friday, August 7, at Umatilla Middle School, 305 E Lake Street in Umatilla. The interactive training will include simulated gunfire and student actors to create real-life scenarios. Thank you to all involved for everything you do to keep our Lake County Schools campuses safe!
