Robotics

Eustis Elementary Robotics Club will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 in the Media Center

Purpose: 

The purpose of EES Robotics Club is to design, build, program and share robots; participate in competition-level events; and learn skills necessary to succeed in STEAM-related careers.

Goals: 

The goal of Eustis Elementary Robotics Club is to support and encourage students through planning, designing, building, programming robots while working as a team. Students will have the opportunity to learn and use STEAM skills necessary to succeed in STEAM-related careers.

Qualifications for Membership:

All 4th-5th grade students who are enrolled in Eustis Elementary School are welcome to join the club. Students will need to complete a club application with two teacher recommendations, and a parent permission form.  Due to the limited number of students on each team, the application and recommendations might be used if there are more applicants than the club has space for.  Any students who violate the rules of conduct may have their membership to the club revoked.

Rules of Conduct:

  1. Students will show respect to the teacher, supplies and fellow club members.

  2. Students will complete all tasks asked of them, including Engineering Notebook, robot assembly, and working as a team.

  3. Students will attend every meeting and competition. Absences will require a valid excuse approved by the teacher.

  4. Have fun!

Club By-Laws:

  1. The students will learn to work together as a team and on their own in order to achieve a given task.

  2. The students will develop skills that are vital for STEAM related careers.

  3. The students will complete a series of projects and attend competitions.
